Our campaign is dedicated to being a bridge between local government and residents of Detroit District Six to enhance trust and grow a larger table of representation.
As your council member, Gabriela holds monthly virtual and in-district meetings to be accessible and listen to the needs of residents.

Council Member Santiago-Romero believes the city of Detroit’s leadership and resources should be accessible and accountable to the community.
Council Member Santiago-Romero’s office has closed on over 1,000 constituent cases, and they conduct annual wellness checks by going door to door in our neighborhoods.
